Tecnically in speed both quarter mile and top speed, and in handling they have the potential to far, far outperform combustion vehicles.
Even if you live 100 miles or so from work or school there is plenty of time to recharge for the return trip home (and overall range and the accessability of charging stations will increase exponentially)....
so how come charging stations aren't being franchised like 7-11's and sandwhich shops, and how come auto manufacturers don't ramp up production of EV's faster? Certainly they must know that they don't depend on the oil industry and therefore have more power in the marketplace than they do NOW?
